About the Pewaukee Fire Department
The Pewaukee Fire Department is located in central Waukesha County in southeast Wisconsin. We are a combination department operating from two stations that are staffed 24 hours a day.
Employees
There are currently 21 full-time line firefighter paramedics and 28 paid on premise members.
Fire Chief Kevin I. Bierce is supported by one assistant chief and one administrative assistant.
Shifts
Five division chiefs run the rotating shifts. Red, green, and black shifts follow the Detroit schedule (24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on, 24 hours off, 24 hours on, 96 hours off).
