Duty of the Department
It is the mission of the City Planning Department to carry out the requirements of Wisconsin statutes as relates to city planning, as well as directives from the city’s Common Council and Plan Commission as relates to the current and long-range planning for the city, in order to meet the city’s goals and objectives as set forth in the city’s comprehensive plan, resulting in a community that is physically, fiscally, culturally, and environmentally sound.
