Welcome to the City of Pewaukee – the City in the country. On behalf of the citizens of our City, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our website.
The City of Pewaukee is a premier city in what is considered the “Lake Country” area. Although we are a “city” we feel we have maintained a country feel. We strive to make this a place where you can safely live, work and enjoy recreational activities. Being a life-long resident of this area, I can say that this community is a vibrant, ever-changing place filled with things to do, places to go and people to see.
The City itself includes 21 square miles of land and water area and is home to over 13,500 residents. The City also encompasses approximately 43% of Pewaukee Lake which is definitely a gem of our area. The lake provides opportunities for water activities such as boating, fishing, sailing and birding. We have several industrial parks that are home to many thriving businesses as well as several great restaurants, some of which have been around longer than I have. There are also great places to shop, parks to visit and many other places of interest, too many in fact, to list them all here.
Our website has been dedicated to provide visitors with as much information as possible about our community. We hope you find it easy to navigate and that your questions will be answered.
