Duties of the Assessor’s Office
The mission of the Assessor’s Office is to discover, list, and value all taxable property within the City of Pewaukee in accordance with state law. By providing accurate and uniform values, we ensure that the burden of taxes is distributed in a fair and equitable manner.
The city has contracted with Associated Appraisal Consultants to provide assessment services.

The assessment and property detail information found on Associated Appraisals website includes the finalized 2016 assessed values, property detail information, and incorporates ownership changes and sales through September 30, 2016.
Property Value Review Requests
Any resident that would like to request a review of their current assessment for their property will need to submit Associated Appraisal’s “Request for Review of Property Assessment” form.
Request forms can be completed online and submitted via email or filled out and mailed or faxed to Associated Appraisal. Forms are also available for pick up at the City Hall Assessor’s counter.
The Assessor’s Office has started gathering the necessary data for 2017 assessments, including new construction and permitted work during 2016, request for reviews, land divisions and new lots in order to meet the January 1, 2017 statutory assessment date. This work and subsequent valuations will carry into the late spring of 2017, mailing of 2017 assessment notices should take place in the beginning of June 2017.
